In 2012, I got on a kick about making these lovely little travel bags. I gave most of them away as gifts and they were great to have handy when a birthday came up. I didn’t take pictures of all of them, but some had ceramic buttons and others had covered buttons – so cute! Buying ceramic buttons to put on these and on some small purses I’m making made me think that this is something I could make with leftover clay. I’ve got some bisque fired, but not glazed yet. Enjoy my travel/cosmetic bags.
I told you the back was great!!!
This was the next quilt I did from the beginning book. I had my sister, Amy Wallace, in mind for this one since she is a pink kind of girl!!
Here is the back that I loved so much
This was a three-rail quilt that I did in Maxine Moore’s Beginning Quilting Class. I LOVE the fabrics and especially the backing. I gave this quilt to my husband’s (Chris Sanor) sister (Jeanine Staley).
I took a class at the Atlanta Sewing & Quilting Expo about 4 years ago. I never got around to finishing the blocks until 2012. In 2013, this year, I finally finished the quilt and now it hangs in our staircase. I really like it!
Welcome to my new blog. I plan to periodically post some of the crafts that I have been working on. I hope you enjoy them and that you give me some comments or constructive feedback. Thanks for looking!
