Cosmetic/Travel Bags

In 2012, I got on a kick about making these lovely little travel bags.  I gave most of them away as gifts and they were great to have handy when a birthday came up. I didn’t take pictures of all of them, but some had ceramic buttons and others had covered buttons – so cute! Buying ceramic buttons to put on these and on some small purses I’m making made me think that this is something I could make with leftover clay. I’ve got some bisque fired, but not glazed yet. Enjoy my travel/cosmetic bags.

About Beth Wallace

I am a teacher, but I have lots of hobbies. I began sewing when I was about 8 years old. For many years, I only sewed my clothes and a few things for the house. In the past 3 years, I have gotten into quilting and a variety of other sewing/quilting crafts. Also, I am a potter and have a studio at my house. My 'clean' hobby (sewing) seems to have taken over my 'dirty' hobby of ceramics, but I'll get back to that soon!
